So it’s that time of the year again! Whether you’re excited to get back to studies or not, you’re going to need something cute to wear. I mean, isn’t every day a fashion show? We break down the top 6 styles you NEED for O-week, uni, school or college.
1. Denim
Denim is one of the most versatile (and popular) fabrics in the world! We would go as far to say that every one of you owns at least something made from denim. Whether it be denim jeans, denim shorts, a denim skirt or even a denim dress or shirt.
This comfortable, classic fabric should totally be a staple in your Back to School wardrobe! It’s easy to wear with pieces you already own, just use it as a base then add a cute crop top, knit or jacket.
2. T-Shirts
Sounds obvious, doesn’t it? But a classic crew neck can create and effortlessly cool, model-off-duty look that is comfy AF for those long lectures. Take it from these boss babes..
We love a basic black or white tee with denim shorts, slides and cool shades or an oversized printed tee with baggy jeans and sneakers for a grungy vibe.
3. Dresses
It may not be the most obvious choice for a beck-to-school look, but who says you can’t look cute while you learn? A simple casual dress will make sure you’re ready for spontaneous, after-class drinks at the uni bar!
We’re vibing loose fitting floral dresses layered over a basic tee or under a denim jacket. Finish it off with a white sneaker and mini back-pack!
4. Knitwear
Universities and TAFE lecture halls are notoriously freezing (who controls the AC?) so it’s always a good idea to pack a jumper or knit. Worn with your fave denim skirt or jeans and a simple sneaker you’ll feel cosy all class long.

5. Jackets
You can’t go wrong with a statement jacket! Throw it on over your denim shorts and crop and it can really up your style-game (bonus for being practical). Denim jackets, cool bomber/ varsity styles and faux fur trimmings are our all time faves for an easy back to school outfit.
6. Sneakers
Probably the most important back-to-school must-have is the always versatile, always-has-your-back sneaker! The humble sneaker is already a wardrobe staple and should 100% be in your back-to-uni wardrobe. This comfortable footwear goes with literally everything, everything listed above and more. Wear with a summer dress, denim shorts, tees, jumpers and jackets all year round.
