Festivals are a magical experience! From one day festivals where the day is spent boogieing from stage to stage, or an iconic camping festival where fashion is just as important as the artists. The Australian festival scene gets bigger and better every year and the hype surrounding them is all year long.
It’s never too early to start planning for a festival, so here is the 2018 BB Australian Festival Calendar, to help you out.
St Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2018 – Australia Wide
If you have Falls Festival withdrawals, FOMO from FOMO or love to stay on top of the music scene, Laneway is perfect for you!
Laneway is bringing the party to Adelaide (February 2nd), Melbourne (February 3rd), Sydney (February 4th), Brisbane (February 10th) and Freemantle (February 11th).

Hot Dub Wine Machine – Australia Wide
If you love wine and last years line up of Miami horror, PNAU and Crooked Colours are in your party playlist then Wine Machine is perfect for you.
Wine Machine is about showcasing Australia’s wine regions and encourages partying with a glass of Chardy or frozen rose.
Hot Dub Wine Machine visits vineyards in Swan Valley WA (February 17th), Canungra Valley QLD (March 3rd), Hunter Valley NSW (March 10th), Huon Valley TAS (March 17th), Yarra Valley VIC (March 24th) and Molonglo River ACT (March 31st).

Bluesfest – NSW
Synonymous with Byron Bay culture Bluesfest is five music filled days (March 29th to April 2nd) over the Easter long weekend. Set in beautiful surrounds, a horde of music devotes, and an international line up Bluesfest is unique and not too be missed.

Groovin The Moo (GTM) – Australia Wide
GTM is Australia’s favourite regional touring festival with a stellar line-up every year!
The GTM party kicks off in Wayville (April 27th), Maitland (April 28th), Canberra (April 29th), Bendigo (May 5th), Townsville (May 6th) and Bunbury (May 12th).\

Bass in the Grass – NT
Bass in the Grass is Darwin’s most iconic music festival. If the 2017 line-up of Peking Duk, The Veronicas and LDRU is anything to go by then back-to-back beats, great vibes and good times are a sure thing at this festival.

Big Pineapple Music Festival – QLD
Held at Queensland’s famous Big Pineapple you will have a fruity time at this festival. Fruit puns are perfect Instagram captions given you are grooving at the sweetest festival on the Sunny Coast with the juiciest line up (wink, wink).

Splendour in the Grass! – NSW
Splendour in the Grass is notably Australia’s biggest and best festival! Typically held in the second last week of July, this festival brings together a community like no other as people from all over Australia pilgrim on Byron Bay for an electric weekend of music, friends and fashion.

Listen Out – Australian Wide
With venues in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, this boutique dance festival is packed with artists that will have you groovin from the opening to closing act.

Spilt Milk – ACT
Ain’t no crying over split milk here! Only two years old Spilt Milk has established itself as a big player in the festival scene. Just look at last year’s line-up with Lorde, Tash Sultana and Vance Joy!
