4 festival items we can’t get enough of in 2017

With brand spankin’ new festivals popping up each year (shoutout to 2016’s arrival of FOMO), and the classics sticking around (hello Splendour in the Grass), it seems like now more than ever, every season is festival season (Hurrah!)

This means more good tunes, good times and GREAT festival outfits. Need a little guidance? Here’s the 4 ultimate staple festival items you need to be rocking in 2017!

An oldie but a goodie, a trusty pair of boots never go astray when it comes to those long days groovin’ in mosh pits. Whether they be thigh-high, vintage or a pair of classic ankle riders, boots turn any outfit up a notch and always help to achieve that coveted indie festival look. And, most importantly, they’re the ultimate way to avoid deadly MPRI’s (mosh pit related injuries). Practical AND stylish – you can’t go wrong!

Another practical yet stylish must-have, hats are an awesome way to amp up an outfit. Fedoras in particular have made a recent comeback, with every other person sporting them at the recent Fall’s Festival. Chuck one of these bad boys on when it’s a sunny (or bad hair) day and you’re good to go!

Embellished bralettes

Ooo la la, we didn’t know what we were missing before these babies came on the scene! Intricate embellished bralettes have taken off in 2017, with brands like the kick-ass Grace Bijoux leading the pack. Throw one of these over or under an outfit and voila! – instant sexy tribal princess.

This one will come as no surprise – chokers made an epic return with 2016’s 90s revival, and we reckon they’re here to stay well into 2017. Go bad a$$ with a tie-up number (like this) or simple and pretty with an intricate piece (like this).

Happy festivaling!
