Tip #2 Feeding the Guests

There’s nothing worse than getting to a party to look around and see there’s no food. Let’s be honest, what’s Christmas without food? We’re not all Jamie Oliver and you don’t need to go overboard to impress. Food platters are great, they provide guests with a variety of food so there’s something for everyone. Not to mention it allows your guests to eat and mingle without being confined to a seat behind a table. If you live in the warmer cities you can even opt for a refreshing fruit platter!

Here are some other fun, simple Christmas food ideas!

Tip #3 Decorating At It’s Best

You’ve got your outfit sorted, you’ve got the food prepped… It’s not a Christmas party without the decorations. I know, I know, Christmas decorations can sometimes be super lame. Out with the old tacky red and green tinsel, 2016 is all about modern simplicity and natural vibes.

White baubles, flowers, bows or ornaments scattered across your tree look great against a silver or traditional green tree. The tip for this look is to not go too overboard. Live in an apartment or don’t have a lot of space? Try opting for a branch tree. These are very modern and can fit neatly on a tabletop. The best part is, you won’t be vacuuming up any pine needles!

Keep table and wall decorations to a minimum. A few candles and a plain wreath will bring in the Christmas cheer without looking too ambitious.

Tip #3 A Killer Playlist

Our final (and lets be honest, most important) tip for throwing an epic xmas bash is a banging christmas playlist to really get the festivities going! Not so up to date with the latest Christmas tracks? We’ve got you covered. We’ve put together a playlist of our all time favourite Christmas tunes!
