Talk about an easy and delicious brekky recipe. When we get bored of smoothies this is our go-to. Whip it up the night before, leave in the fridge and breakfast is ready as soon as you get out of bed or after yoga or running or bed (oh we said that).


  • 1 apple grated
  • 1 cup coconut milk (carton)
  • ½ cup mixed berries
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbs. almond meal
  • 1 tbs. chia seeds
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon


  1. In a bowl combine all the ingredients and place into the fridge overnight.
  2. If you’re short on time or a little unorganised, feel free to leave in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.

Tip: If you make the bircher the night before, you just might need to add a little extra milk in the morning.
