Delicious Vegan Oreo Cheesecake Recipe

It’s somebody’s birthday somewhere, so there’s no excuse not to eat cake! But that doesn’t mean you have to feel guilty about it. Check out this amazing vegan Orea Cheesecake recipe that is so good no one will suspect it’s made entirely of the good stuff!

  • ½ cup spelt flour
  • ½ cup almond meal
  • 1/3 cup cacao
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • Pinch sea salt
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean powder

  • 3/4 cup cashews, soaked
  • ½ cup macadamias, soaked
  • ½ cup almond meal
  • ½ cup coconut cream
  • ¼ cup water
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean powder
  • 3 ½ tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 ½ tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp cacao butter, melted

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
  2. Line a rectangular loaf tin with baking paper.
  3. In a small bowl, place all ‘oreo’ ingredients. Mix well until it forms a pliable dough.
  4. Press approximately 2/3 of the mixture into the tin.
  5. Place the remaining mixture onto a small baking tray and press down to make small cookies (doesn’t matter if the shape isn’t perfect).
  6. Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until slightly crisp.
  7. Place all cheesecake ingredients into a high-speed blender. Blend on high until the mixture is very smooth and creamy.
  8. Pour the half the cheesecake mixture over the ‘oreo’ base.
  9. Break the remaining cookies into small chunks and scatter on top of the cheesecake.
  10. Pour the remaining cheesecake mixture over the top.
  11. Place in the freezer for around 2 hours or until set.
