NYFW Street Style Steal

Unless you have been living under a rock (aka haven’t been on social media in the last few days) then you would have seen New York Fashion Week photos everywhere! Seeing as we don’t have front row seats, we have been more interested in the amazing and often outrageous outfits of fashionistas racing between shows.

Being in Australia we are technically a season behind, but that hasn’t stopped us from recreating some of our favourite street style trends. Denim onesies, wide leg pants and off the shoulder styles are three street style trends that kept popping up, and we are loving! Here is how we are stealing these NYFW street style looks…

Denim Onesies

With a nod to the 90’s, denim is back in a big way. We spotted a lot a street stylers kicking it old-school in denim onesies, whether it was dresses, dungarees or overalls. This style is easy to steal with our Afends Stevie Vintage Blue Denim Dress and can be layered with your fav basic tee or blouse for those in between season temps.

Wide Leg Pants

Another major street style trend we have seen and well and truly heard is wide leg pants. These have popped up all over the streets of NY during fashion week, in all different patterns and colours. If stripes are your thing you can recreate this look with our Donatella Stripe Pants and a clashing stripe tee or make the look a little more fem with the Dark Paradise Pants Prairie Flowers White and a simple crop.

Off The Shoulder

The third and probably most dominant trend we noticed when stalking NYFW street style was off the shoulder designs. From crops to tops to dresses, off the shoulder is on our radar as a summer staple! You can get the look with our Yasmine Crop White that can be paired perfectly with white pants or a skirt, the choice is yours!
