Picture Perfect Pastels

In the spirit of Easter and celebrating a long weekend indulging in delicious treats and spending time with family and friends, we are taking the sweetness to a whole new and delicious level by embracing our favourite trend: pastels

We all know that pastel pink is a standout favourite this season; but here at BBHQ we are also loving delicate sorbet shades of lilac, mint, peach and baby blue!

While the Northern Hemisphere is also celebrating all things Spring, down here in Aus, we are starting to pop on the layers and are bracing ourselves for the Winter chill which is around the corner!

It doesn’t matter where you live around the globe, pastel is a fun and fresh trend that you need in your wardrobe, pronto! Pastels could traditionally be reserved for a Spring or Summer wardrobe as they are very light and fresh and look great mixed in with florals for picnics in the park or dates out with friends.

I for one however, love the fact that pastels are trending coming in to Winter because it gives us the perfect opportunity to shake things up! What is cuter than a pastel purple dress, ankle boots and a chunky cream scarf? Nothing I dare say!

Think pastels are too girly for you? Think again! Pastels are a great alternative to white or beige and when paired with your boyfriend jeans or leather biker jacket will look the opposite of girly but instead super edgy and cool!

Wanting to add some sweet goodness to your wardrobe (why wouldn’t you)? You can shop our great collection of pastel  tops, skirts and knitwear including some awesome pieces on sale; now you have no excuse!
